Bungalow Book Clubs

At Book Bungalow, our book clubs are all about good stories and great company. Join fellow readers in cozy, welcoming spaces to explore new titles, share perspectives, and connect over a mutual love of books. No pressure—just passionate conversations and a sense of community you’ll want to come back to.
Influential Women

Influential Women meets every first Wednesday evening of the month, generally at 7:00 pm. Sometimes, we’ll meet earlier in the day in order to accommodate the author if she/he will be joining us. (The live version of the club is only featuring part of our list, but details are still being worked out at this point.) All are welcome to join either group. Click on our 2024 reading list below to see what’s planned or pick up a copy (and buy the book) in the store.

Summer Reading

The Book Bungalow connects visiting authors with local schools. Teachers and librarians, sign up for our newsletter and reach out if you’re open to author visits—they inspire students, support literacy, and can help with grants. Authors, fill out our form if you’d like to visit! It’s not only an opportunity for students but teachers too!

Teacher Discounts

We all know that teachers are woefully underpaid and often have to dip into their own savings to provide sufficient supplies–including books–for their students. For that reason, The Book Bungalow will offer a 10% discount on all books and products carried to all teachers in the Washington County School District.
